About Farzan Fallahpour
Farzan Fallahpour is a Canadian barrister and solicitor in both Ontario and British Columbia. She is also a recognized Notary Public in British Columbia. She holds a Master’s degree in International Law from Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran and a second Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School—one of Canada’s top law schools. This unique legal background allows her to bridge Iranian legal knowledge with Canadian legal practice, making her especially effective in handling cases involving clients from Iran and other civil law jurisdictions. Farzan is also fluent in Farsi and English and deeply understands the legal, cultural, and emotional challenges faced by immigrants from the Middle East.
Farzan completed a Certificate in Intellectual Property from Osgoode Hall Law School. She has also completed professional courses offered by World Intellectual Property Organization and is a member of Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. Her professional practice includes trademark registration, copyright law, entertainment law, and intellectual property strategy, where she advises businesses, creators, startups, and entrepreneurs on brand protection, content rights, and long-term IP development strategies in Canada.

Before becoming a lawyer, Farzan worked for over three years as a licensed immigration consultant, specializing in refugee protection, temporary residence, H&C applications, and judicial reviews. Her early and focused training in Canadian immigration and refugee law sets her apart in a legal field where most lawyers receive only limited academic exposure to these subjects.She completed her articling term at the Law Society of Ontario, working directly with matters related to legal regulation, professional discipline, and compliance—which gave her a strong foundation in ethics, advocacy, and the public interest.
Deep Commitment to Social Justice and Access to Legal Services
We believe that legal representation should never be a privilege reserved only for the wealthy. Farzan has a long-standing commitment to serving low-income and marginalized individuals, especially refugees. She actively provides legal aid representation for refugee claimants in British Columbia and works in partnership with Legal Aid BC to ensure that people fleeing danger have access to qualified legal counsel—regardless of their financial status.
Farzan also volunteers with non-profit organizations that support education for disadvantaged children, and regularly donates her time and resources to community causes.

Farzan is passionate about supporting the next generation of legal professionals. She is a registered volunteer mentor with legal mentorship platforms that guide internationally trained lawyers and law students seeking to become licensed in Canada. Negin Nikkar
Negin Nikkar plays a vital role at Farzan Fallah Law Corporation as our Data Entry and Document Specialist. With a Master’s degree and over 15 years of professional experience in data management and document control, she brings exceptional accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail to the firm's day-to-day operations.
Negin is responsible for managing the firm’s client portal, ensuring that all communications, records, and uploads are properly maintained and secured. She also oversees the collection, organization, and verification of legal documents, supporting both our intake and case preparation processes.

Ali Nikkar
Ali Nikkar is the Executive Manager and Intake Manager at Farzan Fallah Law Corporation, where he plays a critical role in overseeing client onboarding, operational strategy, and academic and business advisory services. With his diverse professional background and exceptional organizational leadership, Ali ensures the firm’s services remain efficient, client-focused, and strategically aligned.
Ali is a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada, with over a decade of experience in project management and professional consulting. His technical expertise is reflected in over 50 published scientific papers in respected international journals and conferences. Ali’s leadership qualities were nationally recognized in 2014, when he was awarded the title of Distinguished University Student of Iran (Daneshjoo-ye Nemouneh-ye Keshvari, 1393). Since then, he has continuously contributed to both academic and professional communities in meaningful ways.
He is also a member of Iran’s National Elites Foundation (Bonyad-e Melli-ye Nokhbegan).
In addition to his engineering credentials, Ali brings years of experience in international student advising, having worked with educational agencies in Iran that specialized in sending students abroad. He also serves as a business consultant and academic mentor for clients seeking long-term settlement strategies in Canada—particularly through study and investment-based immigration programs.
Ali is also actively involved in the fields of intellectual property strategy, patent registration, startup development, and business establishment in Canada. He advises entrepreneurs, innovators, and international founders on transforming ideas into scalable business ventures, while supporting them through corporate structuring, innovation strategy, and market entry planning within the Canadian business ecosystem.

From guiding new clients through intake and document preparation to offering educational and business planning support, his holistic approach helps ensure clients are not only well-supported legally but also empowered in their personal and professional journeys in Canada.
REGULATED CANADIAN IMMIGRATION CONSULT
Mahsa Mehrvarz
Mahsa Mehrvarz is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB) licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) with authorization to represent clients before all four divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada: the Refugee Protection Division (RPD), Refugee Appeal Division (RAD), Immigration Division (ID), and Immigration Appeal Division (IAD).
With over five years of experience in Canadian immigration and refugee law, Mahsa has represented individuals and families in a wide range of matters, including refugee claims, sponsorship appeals, permanent residence applications, temporary resident visas, citizenship applications, permanent resident card renewals, and humanitarian and compassionate applications. Her practice focuses on providing strategic, client-centred representation while navigating complex immigration processes.
Mahsa holds a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University, where she studied Psychology, Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. Her academic background provides valuable insight into the social, cultural, and gender-based issues that frequently arise in immigration and refugee matters, particularly those affecting women and vulnerable individuals from the Middle East and other regions experiencing conflict and discrimination.
Following her undergraduate studies, Mahsa completed her immigration law education at Ashton College and obtained her RCIC-IRB licence. In addition to her consulting practice, she serves as a lecturer at Ashton College, where she teaches immigration and refugee law to future immigration practitioners. She has also presented Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars and educational programs for immigration professionals.
Fluent in English and Farsi, Mahsa is committed to helping newcomers, refugees, and families navigate Canada's immigration system with professionalism, compassion, and practical legal guidance.
LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Atena Kheyrkhah
Atena holds a degree in Tourism Management from the University of Mazandaran in Iran. She began her professional career in the travel and tourism industry, where working with visas and international travel sparked her interest in immigration and helping people navigate the journey of moving to a new country.
After immigrating to Canada herself, Atena decided to pursue this passion within the legal field. Today, as a Legal Administrative Assistant at Farzan Fallah Law Corporation, she supports immigration and refugee matters by preparing and organizing documents, maintaining client files and portals, coordinating communications, and supporting clients through different stages of their cases.
Atena combines strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a warm, client-focused approach. Her immigration journey has also given her a personal understanding of the challenges of starting a new life in a new country.
Marketing Team
Farzan Fallah Law’s Marketing and Communications are designed and managed by ITANIZ, a Boutique Marketing Agency in Vancouver. Founded by a husband and wife team, ITANIZ plans, designs, and runs practical marketing systems for professional services.
