About Farzan Fallahpour

Farzan Fallahpour is a Canadian barrister and solicitor in both Ontario and British Columbia. She is also a recognized Notary Public in British Columbia. She holds a Master’s degree in International Law from Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran and a second Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University—one of Canada’s top law schools.This unique legal background allows her to bridge Iranian legal knowledge with Canadian legal practice, making her especially effective in handling cases involving clients from Iran and other civil law jurisdictions. Farzan is also fluent in Farsi and English and deeply understands the legal, cultural, and emotional challenges faced by immigrants from the Middle East.

Before becoming a lawyer, Farzan worked for over three years as a licensed immigration consultant, specializing in refugee protection, temporary residence, H&C applications, and judicial reviews. Her early and focused training in Canadian immigration and refugee law sets her apart in a legal field where most lawyers receive only limited academic exposure to these subjects.She completed her articling term at the Law Society of Ontario, working directly with matters related to legal regulation, professional discipline, and compliance—which gave her a strong foundation in ethics, advocacy, and the public interest.

Deep Commitment to Social Justice and Access to Legal Services

We believe that legal representation should never be a privilege reserved only for the wealthy. Farzan has a long-standing commitment to serving low-income and marginalized individuals, especially refugees. She actively provides legal aid representation for refugee claimants in British Columbia and works in partnership with Legal Aid BC to ensure that people fleeing danger have access to qualified legal counsel—regardless of their financial status.

Farzan also volunteers with non-profit organizations that support education for disadvantaged children, and regularly donates her time and resources to community causes.

Mentorship, Leadership, and Advocacy

Farzan is passionate about supporting the next generation of legal professionals. She is a registered volunteer mentor with legal mentorship platforms that guide internationally trained lawyers and law students seeking to become licensed in Canada. Her insight and experience have helped many newcomers navigate the complex journey toward becoming practicing lawyers in Canada.

Ali Nikkar

Ali Nikkar is the Executive Manager and Intake Manager at Farzan Fallah Law Corporation, where he plays a critical role in overseeing client onboarding, operational strategy, and academic and business advisory services. With his diverse professional background and exceptional organizational leadership, Ali ensures the firm's services remain efficient, client-focused, and strategically aligned.

Ali is a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada, with over a decade of experience in project management and professional consulting. His technical expertise is reflected in over 50 published scientific papers in respected international journals and conferences.Ali's leadership qualities were nationally recognized in 2014, when he was awarded the title of Distinguished University Student of Iran (Daneshjoo-ye Nemouneh-ye Keshvari, 1393). Since then, he has continuously contributed to both academic and professional communities in meaningful ways.

He is also a member of Iran's National Elites Foundation (Bonyad-e Melli-ye Nokhbegan).In addition to his engineering credentials, Ali brings years of experience in international student advising, having worked with educational agencies in Iran that specialized in sending students abroad. He also serves as a business consultant and academic mentor for clients seeking long-term settlement strategies in Canada—particularly through study and investment-based immigration programs.At Farzan Fallah Law Corporation, Ali is more than an office manager—he is a strategic pillar. From guiding new clients through intake and document preparation to offering educational and business planning support, his holistic approach helps ensure clients are not only well-supported legally but also empowered in their personal and professional journeys in Canada.

LEGAL ASSISTANT & INTERPRETER

Golsa Golestaneh

Golsa Golestaneh serves as a Legal Assistant and Interpreter at Farzan Fallah Law Corporation, where she plays a crucial role in supporting the firm’s refugee and protection cases. With over five years of experience in the field of immigration and refugee law, Golsa brings deep practical knowledge and sensitivity to each client’s unique circumstances.
Her prior work experience with the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) has given her direct insight into the refugee determination process, including hearing preparation, evidentiary standards, and procedural fairness. This background enables her to assist with precision and confidence in managing complex refugee claims.
Golsa’s responsibilities include assisting with case preparation, client communications, documentation, and interpretation services, particularly for Farsi-speaking clients navigating the refugee process.

DATA ENTRY & DOCUMENT SPECIALIST

Negin Nikkar

Negin Nikkar plays a vital role at Farzan Fallah Law Corporation as our Data Entry and Document Specialist. With a Master’s degree and over 15 years of professional experience in data management and document control, she brings exceptional accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail to the firm's day-to-day operations.
Negin is responsible for managing the firm’s client portal, ensuring that all communications, records, and uploads are properly maintained and secured. She also oversees the collection, organization, and verification of legal documents, supporting both our intake and case preparation processes.
